Welcome to the Search Committee Resource site designed to
help search committee members exercise their collective responsibility for recruitment activities, applicant pool
evaluation and candidate recommendations for faculty and
management positions.
Training
All search committee members must complete the on-line Search
Committee Orientation training at the beginning of the search
process.
Recruitment
Search committees must ensure that recruitment efforts are
designed to widely publicize the position to all qualified
applicants from varied and diverse backgrounds. Such efforts
must align with the Health Center’s state and federal equal
employment and affirmative action requirements. Here are
suggested sources for recruiting diverse and qualified
applicants. This list is not meant to be exhaustive but is a
work in progress which will be edited upon feedback from search
committee members. These resources are beginning points for
efforts to attract a rich pool of qualified applicants.
