Expectations - Harassment Free and Respectful Conduct
This presentation will help you understand the Health Center
policies, programs and procedures and remind you of your
responsibility to ensure your behavior does not cause harm to
others. It will also familiarize you with the State and Federal
legal requirements for a fair and respectful place of work and
education.
Building Diversity Through Affirmative Action – An Update
Although Affirmative Action is a required program for
Connecticut state agencies, it is also a best business practice
for building a workforce that reflects the diversity of the population
available for work. Affirmative action is also a best practice
for fair and equitable employment processes. This presentation
is an overview of affirmative action at the Health Center and
can be used for meetings.
Staff at the Office of Diversity and Equity are also
available to give this presentation as well.
Documenting Fairness and Equal Opportunity
Diversity is an organizational way of life where men and
women, who differ in a multitude of ways, work and learn in an
environment of mutual respect and appreciation. Diversity also
taps innovation and creativity by encouraging everyone to be an
active member in a multicultural environment that encourages
self-assessment, growth, and improvement.
