National Caribbean American Heritage Month

Caribbean-Americans have made lasting contributions to our Nation’s culture and history. The month of June has been set aside to honor their cultural, linguistic ethnic and social diversity. In honor of this culture the Diversity Allies Committee has planned two events for the Health Center Community:

Wednesday, June 24, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Bring your lunch outside in the Courtyard with Steel Pan Performer Lance James and view a display of health benefits of the palm tree coconut.

Thursday, June 25, noon to 1 p.m., Onyiuke Dining Room: Cooking Demonstration “Healthy Culinary Contribution from the Caribbean Islands”

Please join in this wonderful celebration!
